Shop Staff Notes:  The Korkers Studded Kling-On Sole is an excellent choice for rivers like Rock Creek, Madison or Blackfoot.  The carbide studs in these soles are crazy durable and offer great bite on mossy rocks. By this sole not having felt, it’s an excellent choice for winter fishing when there’s snow on the ground. (Snow sticks to wet felt.) This sole also complies with states that have banned felt. These Studded Kling-On Soles offer better grip than plain felt.  With the OmniTrax Interchangeable Sole System, you don’t have to worry about felt bans or if you can wear studded boots in a boat. In about a minute, you can change the soles out to one of 10 different types to perfectly match your wading needs. It comes only with Plain Felt to keep the price down. However, for better, safer traction while wading (NOT in a boat -especially a raft!), we recommend metal -whether Studded Kling-On or Studded Felt or the ultimate in river grip, the Alumatrax. Even when you use non-felt soles, you need to be aware of Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) aka Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS). Please INSPECT.
