Here in Montana we love our streamer fishing and our meaty streamers. The Doc’s Articulator is one of those steamers that offers the fish some serious meat, but at the same time remains very easy to cast. We use this streamer all over Montana, but we absolutely love to use it here on the Missouri, over on the Blackfoot, and as a go to when floating the Smith River.  Pick up a couple up today and give it a try, you’ll like the results!   We recommend using a RIO Spey VersiLeader and 0X or 1X Tippet when fishing these to help get your fly down to the right depth.  (We like to use Fluorocarbon Tippet for it’s stealth and abrasion resistance but Nylon Tippet is also great to use and has a much lower price.)
