This is Billy Billy likes to fish. His favorite color is Blue. His favorite river is the Missouri. He is pretty smart. The MO is still fishing great despite higher flows. The MO just got another bump of water this afternoon.  We’re now over 8K.  They are making room in Canyon Ferry for runoff as their is more going out then is coming in right now.  The MO at over 8K is a much more difficult river to wade fish and most places are a no.. read more →

In case you haven’t heard, Montana received a lot of snow this winter…and we’ll probably get more this spring. As of April 12th, the Missouri River drainage is at 129% of average for precipitation…and it’s snowing as I write this. As a result, the all-knowing folks who operate the dams have bumped up the flows.. read more →
