It’s that time of year when we close up the Craig shop and head to Helena for the Winter. We’d like to take this time to say THANK YOU to our customers, our staff, our friends and family, for a blessed 2014 season. Although Fall fishing is still going strong out on the Mighty MO, our season has come to an end for our days in the Craig as our crew members scatter to other parts of the State, Country and World, to peruse other fishing and outdoor adventures. You may still get personal friendly expert advice, in all things fly fishing, in our Downtown Helena shop. We will also continue to bring you Missouri River Fishing Reports via this BLOG. If you need a room in Craig, we can still accommodate you in The Rainbow Trout and The Brown Trout rooms at The Fish Inn.
Want to learn or spruce up your two-handed casting? We will be hosting our Free Fall Spey Casting Clinic in November upon the return of our two-hand casting instructor and the owner of CrossCureents, from his BC steelhead adventure! Sign up at the Helena shop or throw us a line, as space is limited and fills up on a first come first serve basis.
Right now you can join CrossCurrents-Helena Saturday mornings for an informal tying session that includes Firetower Coffee and treats. Interested in a specific pattern or want to learn a new technique? Let us know, so we can show you how.
Looking for something to do this Winter? CrossCurrnets’ fly tying classes -beginner and intermediate, and rod building classes will commence after the Holidays in January 2015. Sign up sheets are available at the Helena shop. Class size is limited.
CrossCurrents will also be offering “Fly of the Week” tying kits to learn patterns that you’ll be able to fish on our waters at our local brewery on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. More details to come. Follow us on our Blog, Instagram, Twitter or FaceBook to stay in the current seam.
As a friendly reminder, all small streams close November 30th.
Happy Fishing!
from the friendly folks at CrossCurrents Fly Shop
