Shop Staff Notes:  The new, Orvis HELIOS D 9′ 5-weight Fly Rod was also one of the models we got to field test in 2023.  This is a perfect rod for the Missouri but also an excellent tool for the Blackfoot and Smith. It’s a great rod when the wind kicks up (which is often here on the MO!) or when you want to chuck more than just dry flies -think nymph rigs and even streamers. This D model is definitely a tack driver of a caster.  You’ll feel like a Guide when you use this thing!
