This new Clearwater fly-fishing wader is feature rich and designed specifically for a woman’s body in a modern fit to eliminate traditional bulk. Four-layer waterproof breathable nylon fabric is light yet durable, with a 30K Waterproofness / 8K Breathability rating. Opposing side-release buckles allow for waist-high conversion on warm days. External storage pocket with stretch panel for small items and fly boxes, plus a kangaroo-style handwarmer pocket on the front chest. Updated anatomical neoprene booties with Integrated neoprene gravel guards to reduce water drag and collection. Low-profile seam construction and low-profile belt loops with 1½” webbing belt included. Hook and loop patch on interior pocket to attach Orvis waterproof pocket (8G3H sold separately). In stone. Nylon shell/ polyurethane membrane/nylon tricot liner. Washable. Imported. 16 sizes XS-XXL including petite and tall sizes.

Shop Staff Notes:  New in 2020, the Orvis Women’s Clearwater Wader is an excellent value for a breathable wader. It’s replacing the Orvis Women’s Encounter Waders in the entry price point for Orvis and offers several upgrades to the Encounter.  The fabric is more abrasion and puncture resistant, the pocket configurations are much nicer and more durable and the gravel guards are better designed for a more snug fit over your boots and have less drag in the water than the older, more billowy style. The booties are a nicer fit as well. This is a solid choice in waders that should fit in most anglers budget and they look good too!  We recommend pairing these stocking foot waders with the comfy, Ultralight Wading Boot or the super supportive and ultra grippy, PRO Wading Boot. But people do love the BOA on the Korkers Women’s Darkhorse, which would be another excellent choice to wear with these waders.
