Shop Staff Notes:  New in late 2018, this line has since become a big seller for us. It gives all the added benefits of our best selling, Amplitude textured lines but made for folks that don’t like or want a textured fly line. This makes for a durable, longer lasting, super slick fly line without the noise or finger irritation. An excellent choice to pair up with a Versileader and use for stripping streamers. This Infinity Taper seems to be excellent for just about everything we do with a single-handed rod from turning over dry flies of all sizes to the classic double nymph rig and I already mentioned using it for streamers. If you want a super slick, quiet line that will turn over just about any fly you want to fish, give the Scientific Anglers Amplitude Smooth Infinity Fly Line a try. The two color schemes allow you to pick your subtleness. If you want to easily see your line for mending and control, than choose the Standard (aka bright) color. If you are sneaking in on spooky fish in smooth water, than you should get the Camo color scheme. (This would be an excellent choice if you’re headed to New Zealand, where they don’t like you to use bright fly line -or felt soles!) –AST Plus: A new formulation of our patented dry-slick technology provides continual line slickness over the lifetime of the line. Up to 50% slicker than the original AST and 200% more durable than the competition. Fly lines with AST Plus cast farther, float higher, and stay cleaner than any other lines ever built.
–Improved Dry Tip:  Utilizing a unique blend of microballoons, we have developed a fly-line tip section that floats twice as high as a standard line. The tip section will be floating higher with our Dry Tip Technology, which means less drag from the front of the line and more positive hook-ups.
–Welded Loops:  Exceptionally slick and strong, our Welded Loops produce smoother casts and easier turnover with a seamless fly-line-to-loop transition, making for softer landings and cleaner pickups. The sleek design also maintains buoyancy for improved fly-line flotation and enables quicker connections between fly line and leaders or Versileaders, or fly line and backing.
-SA ID:  Meet the Scientific Anglers Line Identification System. SA•ID is an innovative line-marking system allowing you to identify your lines at a glance. Wonder if a shooting head is 200 grain or a 300 or is that the Mirage LT Reel with the 5 weight or 6 weight line? Just look at the SA•ID.
